About Full Circle Northwest
Full Circle Northwest is a nonprofit empowering Portland-area youth that funds experiential programs to build confidence, connection, and the skills to take ownership of their lives.
The Challenge
While every young person’s experience is unique, many youth are facing similar challenges that impact how they see themselves and engage with others. These struggles—often felt quietly and internally—are not isolated, but reflect broader patterns seen among adolescents today:
Feeling overwhelmed by difficult emotions, including stress and anxiety, sadness and hopelessness, anger, and confusion.
Experiences of loneliness, disconnection, and isolation.
Unwillingness to open up and express emotions to others.
Low self-worth and inauthenticity.
Negative and judgmental attitudes toward others and toward life.
Social anxiety and difficulty talking to others.
Apathy and lack of motivation.
How Full Circle Helps
Support from Full Circle makes transformation possible—directly funding experiences that give young people the tools, space, and support to grow. Through this investment, the program creates intentional opportunities for youth to step into ownership of their lives by:
● Developing authentic connections with peers and adults to build a community of support.
● Gaining awareness and tools to understand and navigate relationships, emotions, and life circumstances.
● Identifying and embracing personal strengths, values, and positive qualities.
● Reflecting on the past and set intentions for the future while supporting and witnessing others in the process.
Our Mission
Full Circle Programs is a 501(c)3 non-profit that supports youth in the Portland Metro area through engaging experiential programs that build positive and inclusive communities while empowering youth to take responsibility for their lives.
Full Circle is dedicated to providing young people with experiences that build social, emotional, and academic competence while fostering confidence, compassion and empathy, personal character, and healthy relationships.
Our Partner - Synergo
Founded in 1994, Synergo began by providing experiential outdoor programs to the Portland area community.
From it’s local roots Synergo has grown over the past 30+ years into an internationally recognized company specializing in the design, installation and operation of aerial adventures.
True to it’s origins, Synergo still delivers numerous transformative programs to youth and adults through its program department each year.
