JO LINDEN– PROGRAM COORDINATOR & LEAD FACILITATOR

Jo has been working with teens in various settings for over a decade, with a focus on youth empowerment, social-emotional learning, and place-based environmental education. She is passionate about providing people with opportunities to connect to themselves, one another, and nature, and believes in the power of connection to facilitate a more compassionate and inclusive world. She has a B.A. in Ecological Studies from Seattle University, and an M.S. in Teaching from Portland State University. Her roots reside in the Yampa River Valley of Colorado, and she is constantly in awe of the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, which she now calls home.

 WOODS STONECYPHER– FACILITATOR   In 2016, after obtaining a Master's in Education and Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville (KY), Woods Stonecypher packed up his car and moved across the country to serve as a school based mentor with the AmeriCorps program. He currently works as the Challenge Course Director at Cispus Learning Center in Randle, WA and also facilitates with team Synergo’s Phoenix Program. In both roles, his goal is to create a supportive, safe environment where students have the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones, take healthy risks, and experience the beauty of the great Pacific Northwest. Woods is an avid climber, hiker, kayaker, and enjoys riding his mountain bike throughout his new home in Washington State.
